Maddy Ramsey 

 

 

 Straight out of graduating college in June of 2023 she kicked off her fashion career working in corporate fashion as an assistant designer in the kids' sector, designing little girl dresses. Selling to major retailers such as; JcPenney, Dillards, Belk, and Ross stores across the nation. 

 

Since her first corporate job in fashion she yearned for a sense of adventure to combine fashion with her heart for social work. She went on to volunteer at a sewing school in Uganda helping women learn valuable skills needed to earn an income and become self sufficient. It was truly a life changing experience. 

 

Currently she is working towards her dream of custom designing. In her spare time she works on costumes, pageant dresses, and one of a kind custom work. She dreams of one day starting her own business as for now she continues to pursue her dreams while creating an income with freelance nannying and childcare. 
 

 

Maddy graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Design from The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) in Los Angeles, California. Before getting a BA in Design, she received an AA in Fashion Design from FIDM San Francisco and an Advanced AA in International Manufacturing and Product Development.

 

Maddy is always looking to gain more experience in the fashion industry, expanding her skills and becoming a versatile designer. She has big dreams and is ready for any opportunity thrown at her!
